When you visit The Bailey House Bed & Breakfast Inn, you can choose to stay in any one of our four unique rooms. Shine’s Suite and Scout’s Room are downstairs suites, which provide privacy to you, our guest. In addition to our downstairs suites, we offer two rooms upstairs, The Front Room and B 12-14-18, with a shared bath.

SHINE'S SUITE
Shine’s Suite is named in honor of the innkeeper’s grandmother. We named our largest suite after her to reflect her large and sweet personality. She is the monarch of the family, the cook, the seamstress, the homemaker and one who always listened in the innkeeper’s childhood. The daisy decor was personally picked and sewn by her. The main sleeping area includes a queen size bed and a twin bed, antique dresser and closet. This room also has a sunroom attached with a desk and two sitting chairs as well as a full size bathroom. Shine’s Suite also includes direct access to the back patio area.

SCOUT’S ROOM
This room is named in honor of the innkeeper’s beloved childhood dog, Scout. For 17 years, Scout never left his side. They say a dog is man’s best friend, and they were exactly right: with every fishing trip to the family pond, every four wheeler ride, and every day after school, it was impossible to separate the two. Scout was named after another love of the innkeeper, the Boy Scouts. The innkeeper and his family have been involved with the Scouting program for the past 25 years and still participate to this day.

The drapes and dust ruffle were sewn by our family seamstress. This room includes a king size bed, chest of drawers, closet, and a private bathroom.

THE FRONT ROOM

Many years ago, the Bailey family called this house home. The Front Room was coined during the time of the Bailey grandchildren. In keeping the tradition and honoring such a special family, the innkeeper decided this room should remain the same. Sitting in this room, you can almost hear the laughter of the grandchildren as they play from room to room and up and down the stairs.

This room includes an antique full size bed, dresser, and vanity which was donated by a friend of the innkeeper. The valances and dust ruffle were sewn by the family seamstress. This room shares a bathroom at the end of the hall.

B12-14-18

A rather unusual name for a room; it was named in memory of a family friend. During the innkeeper’s childhood, his grandmother had a best friend who was a big part of his life. As the innkeeper began to build a friendship of his own, the family friend would ask if the innkeeper had a number, thus B12-14-18 was born. This room includes two twin beds, an antique dresser, and a closet.
